Hello, my name is Siri; I've come to Hong Kong from India for my master's education at PolyU. I grew up in America and have been using English as a first language for my whole life, so English, as a language, will be the main subject I can teach. I have experience tutoring my younger brother. As someone who understands pedagogy and enjoys Arts and Design, I believe exciting activities are the best way to engage students; I also think equipping students to express themselves artistically boosts creativity, confidence, and communication skills. My approach will depend on the student’s needs and learning style. However, my teaching is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I usually focus on exam-style or past paper questions in order to check, practice and perfect the student’s understanding and technique. Read less
