Learning, sharing and teaching last a lifetime. Integrating performance, education and creating long-term support for the arts has been my mission. I believe students learn from role modelling but over the years I have learned a great deal from my students. In recent years I have been privileged to work with outstanding students from Asia, Austria, Luxembourg and The United Kingdom. I discovered that learning and teaching in the 21th century requires innovative ideas. Solving problems with my students has been the most rewarding part of my career. The possibilities are endless and I constantly ask my students to “think outside of the box.”

Role modelling and indirect learning is my teaching philosophy. In working with many other instrumental music instructors and university faculty members I know that a teacher’s personality and attitude directly impacts student development.

In addition to tutoring I have been trained in both IGCSE and IB. Many of my students flourished under these programs achieving top scores and winning international prizes.

My former students can be found in prestigious schools such as Cambridge, Oxford, Yale, the Imperial College, The Juilliard School and the New England Conservatory.
