Hi everyone, I'm Teacher Jimmy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Biological Science. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Education majoring in Teaching Science. I have also completed units in Education, with a degree in Elementary Education majoring in General Education and Preschool. I have experience teaching at the primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels. For almost 4 years now, I have been working as an ESL teacher in Thailand. I am a fun, active, and passionate teacher, and I strive to create a teacher-friendly environment for my students to ensure their comfort in speaking English. I am able to teach English from beginner to intermediate levels, and my main focus is on developing the four macro skills of the English language: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. This approach will certainly help my students improve their communication skills and build their confidence. My location is near Pradipat Road, close to Saphan Kwai BTS Station. Learner-centered methods and interactive participative methods are my commonly used methodologies in teaching. I find these methods effective for my students to learn easily. I believe that students and instructors should share the focus. Instead of exclusively listening to the teacher, students and teachers should interact equally. My methodology in education has been anchored on the philosophy of pragmatism. I believe that the world is constantly changing, and so should our approaches to teaching. Read less
