Many consider biology and chemistry boring for the simple and valid reason that you need to memorize stuff. Having studied and taught biology and chemistry on different levels, I know that this is not the proper way to deal with these subjects. My goal is to make students understand the relationships between different processes (physiology, molecular biology) or chemical groups (organic chemistry) and actually provide mechanisms for every important event.
